Anyone interested in material sciences can read this paper which claims to have created a super conductors at ambient temperature! It is exciting because a lot of energy across all known applications is lost due to the resistance of current materials! US alone loses as much electricity in transmission as created by 7 nuclear powered reactors running 24 x 7 If scalable, this could be one of the major breakthroughs in science that affects majority of known applications.
